Caramelised Onion Dip

Once you try this upgraded onion dip, you'll never go back again...

Ingredients
  • 1 packet of Griffin's Snax Crackers
  • 60g Butter
  • 3 White Onions, halved and cut into thin half-moon slices
  • 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • Salt + Pepper
  • 250g Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Parsley, chopped

Instructions
  1. Heat the butter in a large pan over medium heat until melted. Add the onions and allow to soften for 5-10 minutes or until they begin to turn translucent. 
  2. Add the brown sugar and a pinch of salt and pepper to the onions. Turn the heat down to medium-low and allow them to cook for another 20 minutes until brown and caramelised.
  3. In a bowl, beat together the sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper until light and creamy. Fold in the cooled caramelised onions.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and top with chopped parsley before enjoying with Griffin's Snax crackers!
