Caramelised Onion Dip
Once you try this upgraded onion dip, you'll never go back again...
Ingredients
- 1 packet of Griffin's Snax Crackers
- 60g Butter
- 3 White Onions, halved and cut into thin half-moon slices
- 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- Salt + Pepper
- 250g Sour Cream
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- Parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat the butter in a large pan over medium heat until melted. Add the onions and allow to soften for 5-10 minutes or until they begin to turn translucent.
- Add the brown sugar and a pinch of salt and pepper to the onions. Turn the heat down to medium-low and allow them to cook for another 20 minutes until brown and caramelised.
- In a bowl, beat together the sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper until light and creamy. Fold in the cooled caramelised onions.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and top with chopped parsley before enjoying with Griffin's Snax crackers!
