Griffin's Valentine's Day Icing
Ingredients
- 1 packet of Griffin’s Cookie Bear Shewsbury biscuits
- 1 tbsp Icing Sugar, for sprinkling
For the Royal Icing:
- 1 Egg White
- 2 Cups Icing Sugar
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- Red Food Colouring
Instructions
Pick out the heart Shewsbury biscuits. Lay biscuits on a chopping board or plate.
To make the icing:
- Using an electric mixer, whisk egg whites until light and frothy.
- Gradually add sifted Icing Sugar and lemon to egg white.
- Beat at a high speed until light and fluffy, thick and shiny, and add food colouring until preferred colour!
- Fill a piping bag with mixture and pipe onto bikkies.
- To finish, sprinkle the remaining icing sugar over the biscuits.
