Pretzel Hedgehog Slice

A quick and easy lunchbox treat made with Griffin’s Milk Arrowroot biscuits.

Ingredients
  • 395g tin of Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 180g Milk Chocolate, chopped
  • 100g Butter, softened
  • 1 packet of Griffin’s Milk Arrowroot biscuits
  • 2 cups of Pretzels
  • ½ cup Dessicated Coconut
  • 180g Dark Chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tsp Coconut Oil (optional)

Instructions
  1. Grease and line a rectangular pan with baking paper, ensuring you leave extra paper to overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. In a large saucepan, heat the condensed milk, milk chocolate, and butter in a large over medium heat. Stir constantly for 5 minutes or until melted and smooth.
  3. Place the biscuits and half of the pretzels in a food processor and pulse until coarse crumbs form.
  4. Combine the biscuits with the chocolate mixture and coconut, stirring to combine.
  5. Spoon the mixture into the prepared pan and refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.
  6. Once set, melt the dark chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 20 seconds until melted. Stir in the coconut oil if using (this will make cutting the set chocolate easier). Pour the chocolate mixture over the slice and top with a layer of pretzels. Place back in the fridge for 1 hour until set.
  7. Cut into pieces to serve.
