Ginger Crunch
This no-bake ginger crunch made with Griffin's Gingernuts is packed full of flavour!
Ingredients
For the base:
- 1 packet of Griffin's Gingernuts biscuits
- 60g Butter
- 1/3 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
For the icing:
- 60g Butter
- 2 Tbsp Golden Syrup
- 1 3/4 cup Icing Sugar
- 2 Tbsp Ground Ginger
Instructions
- To make the base, crush the Gingernuts to a fine crumb in a food processor.
- Melt together the condensed milk and 60g butter before pouring in with the biscuits and processing again until combined.
- Press the base mixture into a lined tin and place in the fridge whilst you prepare the icing.
- To make the icing, melt together the golden syrup and 60g butter in the microwave.
- Sift the icing sugar and ground ginger into the golden syrup mixture and stir together until smooth.
- Spread the icing evenly over the base and place back in the fridge for an hour or until set.
- Slice into pieces and enjoy!
