Hedgehog Slice
Made with Griffin's Super Wine biscuits, this Kiwi favourite is super easy and quick to make!
Ingredients
- 1 packet of Griffin's Super Wine biscuits
- 1/2 cup Dessicated Coconut
- 1/2 Cup Walnuts, chopped
- 2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 100g Butter
- 395g Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 150g + 250g Dark Chocolate Melts
Instructions
- Roughly chop the Super Wine biscuits and combine in a large bowl with the coconut, chopped walnuts, and cocoa powder.
- Melt together the butter, condensed milk, and 150g of dark chocolate in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Add the melted chocolate mixture to the large bowl and mix together until the biscuits and other ingredients are well coated.
- Spread the combined mixture into a lined baking tin and place in the fridge for 15 minutes.
- Melt the remaining 250g of dark chocolate in the microwave in 30 second bursts. Once melted, spread evenly over the slice before placing back in the fridge for 2 hours to set.
- Slice into pieces and enjoy!
