Hedgehog Slice

Made with Griffin's Super Wine biscuits, this Kiwi favourite is super easy and quick to make!

Ingredients
  • 1 packet of Griffin's Super Wine biscuits 
  • 1/2 cup Dessicated Coconut 
  • 1/2 Cup Walnuts, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 100g Butter
  • 395g Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 150g + 250g Dark Chocolate Melts

Instructions
  1. Roughly chop the Super Wine biscuits and combine in a large bowl with the coconut, chopped walnuts, and cocoa powder. 
  2. Melt together the butter, condensed milk, and 150g of dark chocolate in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. 
  3. Add the melted chocolate mixture to the large bowl and mix together until the biscuits and other ingredients are well coated.
  4. Spread the combined mixture into a lined baking tin and place in the fridge for 15 minutes.
  5. Melt the remaining 250g of dark chocolate in the microwave in 30 second bursts. Once melted, spread evenly over the slice before placing back in the fridge for 2 hours to set.
  6. Slice into pieces and enjoy!
